Our Story

Reset Technology Solutions was built on a foundation that most financial services companies do not have – more than 15 years of hands-on experience managing payroll deductions across South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa. Long before we offered a single consolidation loan, we were the infrastructure that made payroll-linked lending work. That background is what makes us different.

While we have always been proudly South African-based, our experience spans multiple countries and sectors, giving us a depth of operational knowledge that is difficult to replicate.

Why We Started Offering Consolidation Loans

Over the years, a pattern became impossible to ignore. Employees across South Africa – particularly those with reliable, consistent salaries – were being excluded from affordable credit not because they could not repay, but because their credit scores told only part of the story. These employees turned to expensive short-term lenders, payday loan providers, and other high-cost credit that compounded their debt over time.

We identified a gap – and we had the platform to fill it. Our payroll infrastructure already allowed us to manage deductions with a level of security that traditional lenders could not match. So we made it available to employees in the form of a consolidation loan – a product that settles the expensive debt and replaces it with something structured, regulated, and affordable.

What We Believe

We believe that breaking the dependency on short-term, expensive debt is the first and most important step to financial freedom. A person who is spending a significant portion of their salary servicing high-interest loans before it even reaches their bank account is not financially free – they are financially trapped.
